Dukhtaran-e-Millat on Friday lambasted the puppet government and its armed forces for placing the party chairperson, Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi, under house detention-only eight days after her release from the jail*. Andrabi Sahiba has been put under house arrest by the puppet authorities at around 7 PM on the Thursday evening. “We cannot comprehend the level of shamelessness and frustration of the Indian government and the puppet regime here that they have once again put Andrabi Sahiba under house arrest, just a week after she was released from jail after serving detention for almost 9 months,” DeM general secretary, Nahida Nastreen, said in a statement. Nasreen said that Andrabi Sahiba had an appointment with a doctor scheduled for Friday as she is suffering from multiple ailments but the puppet forces send its forces and caged her, once again, inside her residence in Soura. “We all know and the Indian authorities are also aware about the fact that a report about her ailments was produced by the central jail authorities in the court recently.” “After serving nine months in the jail and before that she was under house detention, she, now, had to undergo treatment so that her ailments could be cured; but the frustrated Indian government and their puppets prevented her to undergo medical treatment by placing her under house arrest,” Nasreen added. She said that the Indian authorities and the Mehbooba Mufti-led puppet government must die of shame for doing such activities. “ These illegal occupants claim that they have been able to suppress this movement, but, on the other hand, have put restrictions on the movement of pro-freedom people of Jammu and Kashmir,” Nasreen added. “Indian authorities and the puppets here look for menial excuses to put the pro-freedom people and leadership behind bars. It only explains that this movement and the people in its support are stronger and India and its puppets are weak. That is the reason they resort to such activities and restrict the movement of freedom lovers by force,” she added. Nasreen said that the puppet regime filed 15 FIRs a month ago in court recently against Andrabi Sahib and the court bailed her out in all these cases. “Though lawless law is in force in JK, these puppet authorities aren’t even able to defend its own law. One fails to understand what the laws are and what legal justification is there to cage Andrabi Sahiba inside her house,” she said. She said that such acts cannot weaken the resistance movement which is going on since 1947. “Such acts only expose the failures and the weakness of Indian authorities in giving its illegal occupation a permanent status,” she added. Nasreen further said such acts cannot break the resolve of Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi or the cadres of Dukhtaran-e-Millat. “The aim of our lives is that we should work for the Islam and also to free Jammu and Kashmir from the illegal Indian occupation and merge it Pakistan. No power on earth can force us to change our stance. On the contrary, the force and repression on us makes our resolve even stronger,” she added.(KNO)
